Adrian Taylor has been working as a trombonist, conductor, instrumental teacher and composer/arranger in the British Midlands for over 30 years. He regularly plays trombone for a number of musical theatre companies and is a member of the English Trombone Consort (www.englishtromboneconsort.co.uk). Adrian is the conductor of Birmingham Schools' Wind Orchestra and is often invited to guest conduct other wind and brass bands. He teaches music at Twycross House School, delivering whole class instrumental lessons on the pennywhistle, pBuzz, pBone mini, pBone and pTrumpet.

Adrian has been composing and arranging music since the age of 12 and many of his trombone quartet arrangements, junior brass band, junior wind band and trombone study books are published by Warwick Music. The vast majority of his pieces are written for the groups he plays in or conducts.  His brass teaching work resulted in a tutor book (Just Play Brass volume 1 and volume 2 published by Warwick Music) and three trombone study books (Simple Studies on Trombone Technique, Melodic Studies on Trombone Technique and Introduction to Tenor Clef). Due for publication very soon is his much-awaited Advanced Studies on Trombone Technique, which is written for Grade 8+ students. The Music for Junior Brass and Music for Junior Wind collections are a result of previous work with music services but more recent arrangements and compositions have been for the wind orchestra and school orchestra that he currently conducts.
