Paul Smith has played trombones for over 40 years, specialising on bass trombone.
He also arranges music for trombone ensembles. He plays in an amateur group "Bones alone" as well as a mainly professional trombone group with Andy Crompton, Mark Walters and Jim Robins, who have tried and tested all the pieces published. The pieces he arranges are written with trombone practicalities taken into account.
Paul also plays in orchestras, concert bands and various swing and jazz combinations.
