Fiona Pritchard

Fiona studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and worked as freelance horn player and brass teacher for over 30 years. During this time, she began composing, arranging and songwriting successfully, writing extensively for children’s educational, commercial and media projects with HarperCollins, Monkey Music Ltd and CYP children’s audio. She also writes and arranges for Horn, Brass and Wind ensembles, Orchestral and Choral groups and her library music has been used by the BBC, ITV, Chanel 5, Virgin and You Tube.


Fiona achieved an MSc in dementia studies and currently works in healthcare using music performance, composition and improvisation to enhance the wellbeing of people living with dementia and those receiving palliative care.
