Simon Hall’s musical interests are wide-ranging, which is reflected in his range of work: He is active as a composer, producer, engineer, bass trombonist, and educator. He is currently responsible for the Conservatoire’s delivery of the BSc degree in Music Technology. In addition he co-ordinates and delivers a range of teaching in and out of the studio environment at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His compositional research interests are primarily based around electronics. Stylistically he draws on an eclectic cross-section of sources and techniques combined within the electroacoustic genre. His works have been performed internationally.
