Shelley Denny is a free-lance trombonist and teacher whose wide experience ranges from ballet to big bands, from musical theatre to modern jazz.

His playing credits include tours with Stan Kenton, Les and Larry Elgart and Petula Clark, plus countless shows backing such artists as Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Wilson, Johnny Mathis, and The Supremes.

Shelley is equally respected as a dedicated instructor, with years of both university and private teaching experience. Developing the Upper Range on the Trombone is the welcome result of his long commitment to music education. He is currently playing, coaching, and writing in Sacramento, California.
