Clinics for pInstruments

All of us at pBone Music believe that “teachers-teaching-teachers” is the most effective way to bring the best of pInstruments to today’s classrooms. Our clinic program exists to unlock the wisdom of experienced pInstrument teachers and support more music educators with the resources they need to teach with pInstruments successfully in an ever-changing education landscape.

General pClinic Titles Include:

Introduction to pBuzz for Elementary Music Teachers

Helping more teachers become comfortable in teaching basic music skills with pBuzz is the goal. Presentations include tools in the pBuzz Journey method book and teachers' guide. Sample pBuzz instruments and access to the pBuzz Journey teachers guide are available to every qualified participant at the clinic.  Read more here.

Introduction to pTrumpets into elementary and middle school Mariachi classrooms.

Mariachi classes have many different “looks” and it is not unusual for a classroom of thirty guitarists (or ukelele-ists) to include 10 – 15 pTrumpet players. Current resources include songsheets with both standard notation and Brass Tabs notation for some of the most popular Mariachi songs. pTrumpet hyTech is also a strong candidate for these programs as well as those in high schools.  Read more here.

Introduction to pTrumpet and pBone horn sections in Modern Band classrooms

Ear training and the use of Brass Tabs are important components in this “non-traditional” music education genre. Warwick Music has worked closely with Music Will (formerly Little Kids Rock) to bring horn sections into the mix. They also provide “Learn to Play” lesson books for individuals who want to “play along” with today’s hits YouTube videos.  Read more here.
