Michael J. Eversden was born in London and studied bass trombone at the Royal College of Music. He was principal bass trombonist with the North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra (Groningen) from 1980 until his retirement in 2021. During his career he freelanced with many British and Dutch orchestras, and plays a 1968 Conn (Elkhart) 73H.
